What the 9th house rules in the birth chart, how to read a planet in it and the axis it forms with the opposite house.
Meaning, higher education, long journeys, faith and philosophy, foreign lands, teaching, publishing
cadent house · natural sign Sagittarius · natural ruler Jupiter
The 9th house is the question 'so what?'. It's where information becomes a worldview: college, the book that changed everything, the trip that reorganized your head, the belief, religious or not, that sustains a person when the ground disappears.
A planet in this house
A planet in the 9th house shows what a person believes in and how they seek meaning. Moon here needs a horizon to feel well and misses home when too far away; Saturn here takes faith seriously and distrusts easy answers.
