The honest summary: we use essential cookies and a Google Ads conversion cookie, so we know when one of our ads led to a paid reading. We do not use Google Analytics, a social pixel, or build a cross-site browsing profile.
What is stored in your browser
The language you chose and the last sign you looked up, in local storage. They stay on your device, survive closing the tab, and are sent to nobody.
The question typed on the home page, in session storage, purely so it can travel to the tarot screen. It disappears when the tab closes.
Strictly necessary cookies
Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it from attack, may set its own security and bot-detection cookies. They are necessary for the site to work and serve no advertising purpose.
Google Ads conversion cookie
If you arrive at T4rot by clicking one of our Google ads, Google sets a conversion cookie in your browser (for up to 90 days). It serves one purpose: if you later pay for a reading, we tell Google Ads, in aggregate — without your name, email, or what you asked the cards — so we know that specific ad led to a sale.
This cookie belongs to Google, not us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy. To block it, turn off "Ad personalization" in your Google Account's ad settings, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
What does not exist here
No audience analytics tool (like Google Analytics), no social network pixel, no cross-site browsing profile — just the Google Ads conversion cookie described above, and only for visitors who arrive through one of our ads.
How to clear it
Clearing site data in your browser settings removes everything described above. You lose no readings: they live in the link, not in your browser — you simply pick your language again.
