The center · Fire, mutable

You need a why that is bigger than the task. You're the one who, in the middle of the meeting, asks what all this is for, and the one who can put up with quite difficult conditions without complaint as long as the thing means something. Without a horizon, you sicken from boredom before you sicken from effort.

The light of this placement

You have a practical confidence that spreads: you can show people that their life is bigger than the problem they're stuck in right now.

The shadow — what to work on

The promise tends to leave your mouth bigger than your calendar can hold, and the tiresome detail is where you disappear; saying no at the start saves a lot of disappointment later.

Sun: what it means in the chart

It shows who you are at your best and what needs to happen for you to feel the day was worth it. It also points to the kind of recognition that truly feeds you, and the kind that doesn't, however good it looks on paper.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius is the question 'what for?'. It isn't enough to work: it has to mean something. It's the sign of the journey, of the study that becomes a worldview, of the conversation that starts with football and ends in philosophy. People with it strong wither from boredom when life shrinks, and can bear almost any hardship if it serves something they believe in.
