The force of will · Fire, mutable

You move by conviction: when you believe in something, you chase it with an enthusiasm that cuts through obstacles. You accept a challenge for the challenge itself; if told it cannot be done, you may well try just to prove it can. Your anger is open and quick; you say what you think out loud, sometimes in the wrong meeting, and the next day you are fine.

The light of this placement

You do not freeze before the unknown: you bet, try, fall, get up and call someone to try with you.

The shadow — what to work on

You take on more commitments than your calendar can hold and tend to underestimate risk, physical risk included, leaving others to tidy up what you started.

Mars: what it means in the chart

It shows how you fight, desire and assert yourself. It's the planet that explains why one person explodes and another stews for days, and why some only find out they were angry long afterward.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius is the question 'what for?'. It isn't enough to work: it has to mean something. It's the sign of the journey, of the study that becomes a worldview, of the conversation that starts with football and ends in philosophy. People with it strong wither from boredom when life shrinks, and can bear almost any hardship if it serves something they believe in.
